PAIX Data Centres appoints Boubacar SY as the Managing Director of PAIX Senegal

Boubacar will provide direction and leadership in the development of PAIX Senegal, maintain a full overview of the operations, develop and drive the local business strategy, and manage the effectiveness and development of local teams. He brings to the position more than 12 years of progressive leadership in the telecom industry with B2B perspectives.

Before joining PAIX Data Centres, Boubacar served as the Head of Sales at Free au senegal leading in the implementation of the business strategy and achieving maximum return on investment and economic success in line with the overall company strategy. Further, he has worked for Tigo Senegal, managing and implementing commercial strategies, monitoring production indicators, planning, organising and managing the activity of sales teams.

Boubacar’s educational background is in computer science, specialised in computer networks and he is fluent in English, French, and Arab (basic). His leadership will begin on July 1, 2023.
