Boubacar Fall Sy
Managing Director, Senegal
Boubacar is a progressive leader in the telecommunications industry, with expertise focused on B2B relationships. He held the position of Head of Sales at Free in Senegal, where he led the implementation of the business strategy, achieving maximum return on investment and economic success in alignment with the company's overall strategy. Previously, he worked for Tigo Senegal as a key account sales manager, where he implemented sales strategies, monitored production indicators, planned, organized and supervised the activity of the sales teams.
Boubacar studied accounting and management of organizations in France, before obtaining a degree in computer science with a specialization in computer networks.
Mamadou Aidara
Operations Manager
Mamadou Yoba Aidara is a distinguished leader in data center management and telecommunications, with over 15 yearsof experience. Mamadou excels in maintenance, design, planning, and capacity management of data centers.
Mamadou has held the position of Datacenter Manager at Free Senegal, overseeing 2 data centers and 5 HUB sites and ensuring optimal operational efficiency. Mamadou possesses advanced skills in data center maintenance, capacity management, design, architecture, and telecom network management. He has demonstrated exceptional abilities in leading teams, managing complex projects, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers, significantly contributing to the success of his previous roles.
He holds an engineering degree in IT/Telecom from the École Supérieure Multinationale de Télécommunications (ESMT) and a DUT in Electrical Engineering from the École Supérieure Polytechnique (ESP) in Dakar. He also holds certifications in data center operations maintenance (AOS by the Uptime Institute).
